She keeps waking up at 3AM. And something is always waiting for her.

The Witch was one of our first shorts we started doing for fun. Made in a night by just myself and my wife, it captured the atmosphere and style I wanted to push myself further into.

She hears something downstairs. She’s not alone.

Another quick short, this time I wanted to try and do something within 60 seconds. I was also looking into working with Horrorigins, so this was the perfect chance. This turned out to be our most popular short we’ve done, and was picked up for Bloody Disgusting’s Bloody Bites series.

She heard her name from upstairs. But no one was home.

Growing up, my great-grandma told us about the time she was alone in her house… and heard her father call her from upstairs. She walked up, confused, until she looked out the window and saw him pulling into the driveway. That story stuck with me. It’s the kind of unsettling, quiet horror that I love, and it inspired this short.

The power went out. Then she found the box. Inside? Something she’ll wish she never saw.

This was the first quick thing we filmed and put together after deciding to stop waiting for budgets, locations, opportunities, and so on. We wanted to start making shorts, so we just started. I made this box, had that custom made rag doll, and figured it out. I could’ve went further with it, but I just wanted to put something out, and this took a couple hours. I do have an idea to fully flesh out this box idea though.
